Melt Club at the Ostrich

‘Melt Club at The Ostrich’ is a collaborative group show featuring 12 emerging artists with practices spanning across art and design to include painting, drawing, textiles, printmaking, product design, and digital art. 

For this exhibition each artist considers the context of The Ostrich Pub, looking at its architecture, function, and the way visitors will interact with the space over the duration of the show. Running for three months, the exhibition will encounter a mixture of regulars and one off visitors to the pub, prompting a variety of isolated, passive, repeated, and extended interactions with the artwork. We look to allow and encourage an in-depth dialogue between art and viewer, imagining the viewer’s relationship with the set of work as one that will change and develop throughout the length of the exhibition.
